On 24th May 2008, Shizu Clifford Hyde-Gomes received 9th Dan in Chum Kune Do at the National Martial Arts Awards 2008. I and all of your students would like to offer our congratulations at this exceptional achievement. You stand as an example to all of us.
Chum Kune Do Martial Arts Academy (England) in association with the Sri Lanka Mixed Martial Arts welcome you to the International Martial Arts Tournament and seminars with some of the world’s top masters and instructors in specialist workshops in Columbo, Sri Lanka in November 2008.
The package will include flights from London Gatwick to Sri Lanka, Transport from the airport to 4 star hotel, transport to and from the tournament, sight seeing and transport back to the airport.

Congratulation go to Jack Webb for his magnificent performance at the International Kickboxing Championship held on 30th September 2007. He bravely fought to second place in both points and continuous fighting taking the silver medal in each.
After the success of the British Open Championship, a new event is happening in Kent on the 18th November 2007. The Battle of Medway - Open Martial Arts Tournament.

Chum Kune Do successfully hosted the British Open Martial Arts Tournament, which was held in Rainham, Kent. The high standard of the competitors was only matched by the heart and desire to win as martial artists from different clubs came together to compete for fantastic trophies. All fought hard, and the winners truly deserved their hard won glory.
